Cuteez has been around for almost a year...!
A year in which a lot has happened around the webshop, and I like to give an update.
It was a year with a very steep learning curve, in terms of sewing baby and children's clothes as well as design, plotting, website management...
I'm getting more and more insight into the trendy patterns, beautiful high-quality sustainable fabrics and sources of inspiration. That gives a lot of energy. With my silhouette cameo cutting plotter I am becoming more and more handy, making it easier to realize prints. And that gives more freedom. My son has also discovered the possibilities and has already requested his own new hoodie with his favorite cheese image ;). And who knows, I can offer more in the field of personalized (maternity) gifts and baby and children's clothing.
Personal
But it also teaches me a lot personally. Especially that it's so incredibly complicated to limit myself when I'm busy with fun things. That gives complaints and I still have a way to go. The level of tension associated with perfectionism and fear of failure also remains a difficult point.
I also learned that marketing is not my greatest love. Marketing your products properly is an art in itself, and that doesn't give me the most energy. So I often put it off to dive deeper into that. Tips are welcome ;-).
Market
Another market is planned soon. You can find me on Whit Monday (29 May) at the Creative day in Markolo. If you are looking for a nice outing, then this is definitely recommended with music, flea market, stalls, old-timers, children's entertainment and demonstrations. I'm very curious to see what that will yield in terms of sales! In any case, nice customer contacts again and hopefully a pleasant day with nice weather!
I have taken the feedback from the first market to heart and I am in the process of filling in the 'gaps' in the collection. Such as the missing leggings for girls (I did have pants, but still few leggings), and the highly desired boys' and girls' clothing in sizes 92, 98, 104. That also seems to be a quickly sold-out size of children's clothing in stores, where there is a lot of demand. to is.
It's a fun challenge to design beautiful clothes not only for girls, but also for boys! I am happy to have new ones bomber vests made and jogging suits .
Ladies
I have definitively closed the category 'ladies' on the website. Well with pain in the heart, but yes... you can't do everything... If I could clone myself, my 'second self' would certainly love to work on that, but for now it was too much .
And with a first sale on the website we are now definitely moving towards the new spring/summer season. You will see more of that soon. Keep blooming and growing, that's what I'm trying to do! Love!
