web design
I had another steep learning curve last week...
Unfortunately, my budget is not sufficient to put someone else to work for my website. So I've had to delve into site verification, indexing, link building, action buttons, clean URLs, SEO, link validation...
That is a completely different business than sewing baby clothes or designing a new children's dress or women's blouse (yes, they are still coming!).
Setting up a webshop for sustainable, handmade clothing is also great fun, as far as puzzles and layout are concerned. But, oh, how time consuming. And after a burnout, a few hours of computer work is really quite an effort, which was disappointing to me. So sewing has come a little less this week than I wanted. That boys' sweaters have to wait a while...
In the meantime, a new format of my webshop has been offered to me by the provider, so I will make that conversion next week. Yippee! I'm excited. I get a good menu bar, more options regarding the layout of the page and hopefully a better findability of the page on Google. There's still some work to be done, but I can't wait to show you the renewed webshop! In the meantime I hope you can find everything and if necessary, me also knows how to find ;).
